Question: What do I need to do to get signed with a modeling agency!?
I'm a teen with a dream of modeling, and I've done some research on local agencies!. My question is, what do I need to send to them that will make them take notice of me!? I know I obviously need a headshot, and a full body shot, but should I take other pictures in other poses to show how I can work with my body!? Or should I just give a headshot and body shot!? also, can I take the pictures at home or do I have to have them taken professionally!? Some help with us would really be appreciated--especially from someone who has been through the process!. Thanks--will give 10 points to best answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the more pictures you have it will show them how versatile you are when you are in front of the camera!. You can take pictures at home, but I sort of suggest for you get someone who knows what they are doing so they can tell you what looks good with your body and face, other than having a relative or friend take your pictures!. also if they ask you in for an interview always dress nicely, because first impressions are very important in this industry!. I just signed with an agency about a week ago and I brought in pictures that were taken by my sister and they said that they liked me in front of them better than in the pictures!. Don't forget about your modeling resume! And they also told me to cut my hair, so always take in what the agency you sign with tell you!. But make sure you will be happy with whatever you do and that you wont regret anything, like signing with that agency!. And if you do decide to sign with that agency, make sure they do not have more than 15% because usually 15% should be the max that they want from whatever you audition for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can answer one or two of your questions!.

Usually, you can just ake the pictures yourself at home, but I'm sure there are a few agencies that require you to get them professionally done!.

If there's a specific agency you're thinking about, go to their website and look up what their guidelines are so you know what to send in!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
