I want to get recognized and i have to mail my resume of to and acting place and its 20$ to get the acting places address so idk wether i should buy the commercial casting address or agents address cuz i don't know what an acting agent does!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Agents submit you for roles in plays, commercials, movies, etc!. by sending your photo and resume to casting directors and sometimes calling them to ask if you can audition for them!. Some actors send their photos and resumes directly to casting directors, producers, etc!. instead of going through an agent!. However, you are more likely to get an audition through an agent submission than through a self-submission because the agent is likely to already have a professional relationship with the casting director!. It's better to have an agent vouch for you than to approach the casting director as a completely unknown actor!. Don't pay $20 to get addresses!.
