Question: Where can I turn in my songs I have written!?!?

My mom said if I turn in a song, I can get credit for it!. But where!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a little more difficult than this!.

Usually you need to make a demo for it, and have the sheet music written out!. A demo can be done pretty easily: just contact a local recording studio (if you're in the SF California area I can give a few names of good places that don't rip you off), play the song, sing it (or get a friend to), and burn it onto a CD!. Make copies of this CD and send it out to various artists, music producers, and recording studios: mostly smaller indie labels who will be more receptive to it!. Steer clear of the big-name studios where your song will get lost in the crowd!. Execs tend to be a little rude there too!.

To be truthful, your song may never get anywhere!. Tons of artists write a million songs and never go anywhere!.
