I wonder of you want to be an actor or if you want to master the craft of acting - think about the difference!.
- Experience is the best, if not the only, teacher!.
- Read a lot - learn about as many things as you possibly can!.
- Go to every audition you can find at schools and community theaters!. Be prepared for rejection, but remember it’s not because you aren’t good enough, it’s because you aren’t what they’re looking for!.
- Accept even the smallest part, and if they don’t offer you anything, volunteer for tech or house work!.
- Whatever you end up doing, be reliable!.
- Be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting, unnoticed!.
- When you make a commitment, live up to it—even if something better comes along!.
- Remember, even if you’re playing the lead, it isn’t about you!.
- And finally, be aware that the average annual income for a professional actor is something like $1,000!

there are no bad parts, only bad actors, to paraphrase Stanislavski!. Keep doing theatre , tons of it!. When you start to get big parts, find an acting studio and take classes while you continue to be in plays!. That is building your resume!. When it is good enough to impress an agent, you can try to get one!. YOu have to be born an actor, you cannot learn to act if you have no natrual talent!. Many classes are once a week for four to eight weeks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should take classes to build up your resume!. they can be from 1 day to a couple of months!. there are some workshops that you can take that can help you get an agent!. but for now you should take workshops because casting directors like to see that you have lots of experiance!. if they are considering you and another person for a role and you have more experiance, they will chose you! break a leg!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Take workshops at either community college, theater specific schools, or even programs at 4 year universities!. Be prepared to work very hard and good luck to you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think a workshop is a good idea!. If you beleive in yourself you will certainly succeed!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
