Question: Help!!! what song should I sing!?

I have an audition for fiddler on the roof next week and I have no idea what song I should sing!. I can pick any song!. does anyone have any suggestions!? I'm a mezzo soprano if that helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No phantom, No Alicia Keys, Fiddler on the Roof is very regimented rhythms that are almost like a waltz!. You should try something from godspell or traditional work!. From musicals such as, South Pacific, The Music Man, or Annie Get Your Gun!. Nothing Pop, just traditional!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Although it's FROM "Fiddler" -- and I generally advise people not to do a song from the target show -- I have found "Far From the Home I Love" to be an outstanding audition song!. It affords opportunities to demonstrate vocal range, musical expression, and acting skill!.

It's one of the few female songs I wish I could sing for an audition, but don't because auditors would find it odd to see a man sing it!. Ho hum !. !. !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
