No offense, but actors always think the director made a mistake in casting (if they aren't the lead)!. I suppose the best thing to do is avoid negativity and gossiping about the director-that is a virus that WILL ruin the show!. If you try to enjoy your part, do your best, and make friends, it will be soooo much more enjoyable!. Otherwise, it is going to be a very spiritually and emotionally draining seven weeks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know from experience that there will always be directors that you love and some that you hate!. You just need to suck it in and face it!. Make some new friends, focus on your work, and ignore the rude comments!. If you can't handle it, then maybe show biz isn't for you!.

Even if you didn't get the role you wanted, remember that you can make any part your own and really have fun with it!. Every time your director says something you don't like, think about the truth!. You can play any role if you set your mind to it!.

For the future, if you are cast unfairly or under a director you don't like, quit immediately!. You wont have to pay the cash and you'll be saved from a bad experience!. And, most importantly, don't audition for that director again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

With no offense to you at all, but in some defense of ALL directors, They are GOD, in this sense, and often do not exhibit decency, or respect in their expressions, or views of YOU!.

First of all, and again with no offense, It's called ACTING for a very specific reason, and that translates, beyond what you're doing for an eventual,,, other audience!. Your director is neither in a popularity contest, nor should you consider yourself in one!.

There seems to be another issue however, which you didn't exactly, clearly define!. WAS THE $$$ paid upfront!? AND WHY!?!?!? No one PAYS to audition, or cast!. This is obviously more than you detail here!.

I'd probably have my parents confront the situation, and so wish CHILDREN would wait until they reach legal age and have cognizant thought before attempting thisWww@QuestionHome@Com

Since you are obviously an actress, the thing to do now is to ACT!.

Start acting as if you like the Director!. When he is thoughtless and insulting, smle and laugh at him!. Remember that you are acting!!!

You have a wonderful opportunity to see if your a good enough actress to fool everybody!

Let's see how talented you really are!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
