Wicked Chicago is Closing?????

Question: Wicked Chicago is Closing!?!?!?!?!?

Does anyone know why the musical Wicked is closing in Chicago!? I went to the show while on vacation and I thought the theater itself and the show were spectacular!. Can anyone answer my question that knows the reason!? I thought Wicked was doing great in Chicago!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Since theatres only have one stage, they can't keep one show for too long!. The reason isn't that the show wasn't doing well, there was just another show that needed to fill its place!.

Don't worry though, wicked will be back and in the meantime, you can see all the other great shows chicago's going to offer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wicked is closing in Los Angeles, CA too!.

Theatres can't keep the same show forever, and new productions of Wicked are opening in 2009, including San Francisco, CA, and Mexico!. Most likely they plan on moving the production to another location so now another area will be more impacted by Wicked!. Two years is a really good run for a show off-Broadway, and the National Tour is on its second run, so in the future Wicked will eventually come back to Chicago and Los Angeles!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
