Question: The Breakdown System (actorsaccess!.com)!?
i just bought a book called: How to sell yourself as an actor" by K Callan!. in the book it says that when ur starting out using internet stuff isnt always a bad idea!. ok well it listed websites that arent total scams [if at all] and one of them was called actors access/the breakdown system, i heard of it before and it explained it briefly in the book!. my mom said i could register with it as long as i be careful (i'm really responsible) and find some more information out about it, anyone know anything that would be helpful to me!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, you should have your projects on the Web so people can see you working, rate your work, etc!. If you are young, be careful with what you put up there!.

BizParentz!.com is a site you should share with your mom and so is Children in Film!.com too!. Before you pay for Actors Access and the other services do your research and make a plan!. If you have the summer off from school now is the time!. See if there are any drama day camps!. Somewhere you can improvise and somewhere you can do scene study!. See if you really like this before you put out a lot of money!.

Get some theatrical/commercial training, the best headshots you can afford that look like you and start putting a resume together!.

Here's a link for some paid/free casting resources: http://holdonlog!.com/pages/links1!.html

I also highly recommend you investigate the company that I am sending you to HoldonLog!.com!. They have a free newsletter and they post theirs and others free seminars on that and here's a free trial for their software!. www!.ActorTrackTrial!.com!. You can start growing your contacts and adding your expenses now and then your audition and booking stuff later!.

Good for you for reading!.!.!.research, research research!.!.!.here's more articles and since you are young like my children read the safetly and other articles here: http://www!.holdonlog!.com/pages/articles!.!.!.!.

Do all this stuff before you just pay to put your pictures all over the place!. You need to be professional and ready to act!.

Good luck and keep on asking questions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

LOl at the top poster!. Actors Access is not a scam!. They post breakdowns for actors (as opposed to breakdowns for agents-only)!. Go online and register (it's free) and check out the listings!. It's $2 per submission if you find something that fits your type or you can subscirbe for $60 per year and submit as often as you like!.

If you want to try this go ahead, but I would recommend checking out the postings thoroughly first and making sure there are some that are actually in your area - they're divided by region/market and not every region is covered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

nope!

exactly y r u asking me this!.!.!.!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

agents are free they dont cost nothing!
if some1 asks you to apy for them to represent yout hent heyre a scam!
and go to talentagents!.blogspot!.com and click table of contents and click the city near you and call all those agencys asking if they represent girrs/boys your age and if they say yes ask if theres any fees you have to pay and if thye say no but they charge 10-20 % of what you make then theyre a real agency and then ask how you can submit yourself and do that with every agency and every agency that sasy yes write on a peice of paper and how to submit for each one!.
and also build up your resume by doin plays and taking acting and singing classes and join your church choir and school choir
hope i helped
o and for auditions go to actinginfo!.blogspot!.com

its a scam and so is that book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

internet stuff is definitely not a bad idea, especially in this day and age! from what I know about actors access, its pretty good!. I think it is free to register, but it does cost about 99 cents or 1!.99 for each submission!.!.!. which is almost the same it would cost for postage if you sent your resume and headshot snail mail!.!.!. so you're not losing anything!. Plus it makes it easier!. You fill out a resume thing and upload your headshot, and with one click you can send your info to the casting people!. This site definitely contains legitimate auditions!. I say use it!. Good for you for researching which ones are legit, because its so common for beginners to get scammed!Www@QuestionHome@Com
