Question: Anyone ever heard of Barbizon!?
Ok well, today I got a call from this lady and she's all, "Hi this is Amy ffrom Barbizon Acting, you were referred to me by (i forget the name) and we are having tryouts on Sunday and I was wondering if you would be interested!?" and I'm just like sure and she's like is your mom around and I'm like no and she's like wel could you have her call me back!?
So now I am not sure if I should because I have never heard of this and I am not sure if this is a hoax I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this and if this is some kind of thing just to get me to spend money or what!? They've been around for decades!. I wouldn't trust them!. The few people I know who went to them said that they were all too happy to take their money, kept pumping them up saying that they'd be incredibly successful, and nothing ever worked out for them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Anybody who calls you based on a referal without knowing you or your talents is usually a scammer!.
Barbizon is a school, they will take anybody who is willing to pay the overpriced tuition!.
A simple google or yahoo search for Barbizon will give you loads of information on other people's experience with them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It's a huge scam that has been around for years!. Don't waste your time or money!. They got your name from a mailing list or a school performance program and figured you might be a pigeon who would flap for their line of bull!.
Take real classes at a local theater or university and at school!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I used to hear about the company a lot!. I highly doubt it's a hoax call!. Call them back with the phone number from their site rather than the one that called you!.

You should do some investigating to see if they're legitimate!.
