Question: Hi!I'm playing Penny in my school play Hairspray!Any comments or acting advice!?Read my story in details plz!
MY STORY:
Hi! My name is Dakota and I am 12 years old! I will be going into the 7th grade and I am doing Hairspray 4 my school play for 2008-2009 schoolyear! I go to a catholic school in Long Island,the suburban part of New York!. I will move to the city part when i finish college to be on broadway!. I won an award this year for best actress in my school production of Wicked which I played the part of Nessarose at my schools grammy awards!. I will now take on my challenge after the summer as Penny in Hairspray! I was asked to audittion for this part in may,and i told the teacher that she was my favorite character in Hairspray and i knew everything about her! So then I sang for the director and did a little bit of acting too!. I easily stole the part! I love my life! I will never know what part will be coming at me from the unseen next! Nnow,I really need your help,to give me some acting advice that I don't have and add any comments or congrats to me because people often do! Thanks 4 helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

Ok well acting advice:
take some classes
it's not that easy
not ALL the time do you get ASKED to do auditiones so don't get used to that
also to be on Broadway you NEED an acting agent!. Yes, you may sing and have the spark like Christina Agularia or Britney Spears but that won't cut it!. You need proffesional expeirence!.
Second:
look and talk as if you were talking to someone you knew, imagine the characters as real and feel there emotion!.

My mom puts on musicals most every summer!.!.!.and both Hairspray and Wicked the rights for them aren't available yet!. So!.!.!.how did you do the shows if they are currently illegal!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
