Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Any age at all! Of course, you will be subjected to type casting no matter your age, but if you start as a child, you can still get child roles, and so on!. There is no required age, because there will always be a need for young and old characters!.

Psychologically, it can be hard for someone young!. In my area, about 80% of the members of the Actor's Union are unemployed!. It's a rough business, and you need to be ready for rejection!. and you have to work!. Hard!. As long as you're mature enough to handle that, by all means, go ahead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on which role you're vying for!. try looking at this site to look for different roles: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)Www@QuestionHome@Com

doesn't matter as long as you can get lots of experience acting in plays and take some acting classes at a studio and start building a good resume!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
