How to write music in a screenplay!?
I am writing a film where music plays a big part in the story, almost another character in a way like in Amadeus!. I have read the script but am still not sure!. Do you put lines of lyrics when a song is said to be playing or do you just write!.!.!.!.
The song, "Get-up,Stand-up!" plays!?

I am writing a biopic: miniseries, that I hope to get on HBO or Showtime channels!.

My story is on: Musical revolutionary Bob Marley from Jamaican, his life story told from stories by family and friends at his funeral in 1981!

But I need to know how to write the music in to the film!?!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, generally you just state that a particular song is playing!. If the lyrics are extremely important to the content of the seen, you can weave bits and pieces of them into the screenplay, but I wouldn't just stick the whole song in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
