so you're starting out and you're resume is going to be a little sparse but do not worry!. everyone has to go through it!. if you aren't represented by an agency, then just don't put anything down!. no, you're resume does not have to be in that form!. my resume has changed forms a lot, mainly because the info on it has changed!. as i've gained more experience, i've needed more room!. what you want is for it to be very easy to read!. directors/casting people don't want to have to search for your info!. they want to be able to scan it and find all the pertinant info right there so just make sure it looks clean, neat, professional, and easy to read/scan!. i went online and just looked at a bunch of other actors' resumes until i found one that i thought looked good or i though might work well for me!. also, if you have friends that are acting, check out theirs too!. my last drafted resume was stolen from a good friend of mine!. i asked if it was okay to steal it from her and she said "sure, i stole it from someone else!"!. i'm not sure why it would be a problem that you only auditioned for a director!.!.!.that's who casts you in plays!. if you're trying to get more into tv/commercials, you may want to investigate agencies in your area because it's a little different than stage acting!. but go ahead and put down ALL EXPERIENCE!. school plays, church plays, volunteer work, commercials, acting classes!.!.!.anywhere where you gained experience in acting put it on the resume!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
