Question: What do you think about John Robert Powers!?
Ok is it worth my time and money to go to John Robert Powers!? I was accepted but i dont want to be ripped off!. I know of many celebrities that were a part of JRP and did very well with them!. If you think its a scam plz tell me & if you know some1 or if u have done well with JRP plz tell me that as well!. I am not trying to make it big time & become famous I just want some classes & learn how to become a better model & maybe pick up some more jobs along the way!. If you think they could help me please tell me or if it is a scam please tll me, I need to know what you think about them & why!. Plz make it as detailed as passable!. I have been a judge of a number of talent events!. Including The Best New Talent Awards in Century City California!. I am a producer/director myself as well as a singer songwriter!. John Robert Powers has been represented at most of the awards shows I have judged by some pretty impressive talent!. They offer good classes and good coaching, especially the ones who offer on camera workshops!. Out of the last show I judged, I discovered Adrianne Leon, seen on General Hospital and The Young And The Restless!. The best thing about the John Robert Powers organization is that they invite legitimate Hollywood and New York casting directors to "scout" their locations!. This includes people like Joey Paul Jensen who is a casting director for Disney and Nickelodeon!. I personally feel those local events far transcend any award show, as they allow you to go almost one on one with the movers and shakers of the entertainment industry!. You learn a lot and might just be "discovered"!. John Robert Powers is not inexpensive!. No legitimate coach is!. Even if you use the skills you learn to enable you to become validictorian of your college graduation, how much is that worth on a resume in the future!? Not every John Robert Powers student will succeed!. They give you the tools, you are the one who has to perform when you're on the x and the light turns on!. As for their legitimacy, the first round of audition eMails I sent for my new musical, Molly McNight's "Rock Me" went to the JRP's around the country!.
