Question: Help! Audition reels, headshots, ect!.!!?
OK so I applied to be on a locally shown scripted reality show and I got picked to audition!. The problem is that I don't really have any acting experiance (the show is about kind of everyday life as a teenager) and I have to have things like headshots and audition reels (what's an audition reel!?!?!?)!.

An audition reel is when you show a tape of the work you have done in the past!.

And about headshots, you WILL NEED those, I suggest you go to a professional photographer and get them done, You should get some in black and white and some in regular color, and some in full body poses!.

You would usually attach your resume to the back of your headshots, your resume should contain: hight, hair color, eye color, weight, any previous work you have done, and any special skills you have, hobbies!.

(anything you can't fill out you can say none)

also you may need a monologue, you would read it and know it! you need to have one memorized for things like this!.!.!.but you should still find out if you need one!.

An audition reel is a composite video or DVD of your previous work, so you don't have to worry about that, because you don't have any!.

Do come up with a resume of your height, weight, hair and eye colour, age and any relevant experience you may have (singing, instruments, gymnastics, martial arts, juggling, etc!.) to attach to the back of your headshot!.

A headshot is an 8 x 10 black and white photo of you from the shoulders-up!. Don't get too posey, it should be representative of the person that they will see before them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Someone already answered the question about reels!. With regard to head shots, there are several things to know!. For me the two most important things are the expression (your ability to work the camera in a natural way) and the quality of the picture and the print!. Have a look at this page on my site for new and aspiring actors!. It talks all about head shots, things to look for in a head shot photographer, how to choose a photographer, questions to ask before you choose the photographer and how to make sure you get really good head shots!.

also, I have done some research on places on the internet where you can find monologues of all types, including teen monologues, monologues for girls, women, men, comical monologues, short comedic monologues, etc!. I also answer a lot of questions about how to effectively memorize a monologue as well as about common mistakes that actors often make while performing a monologue for an audition!. On this page on my site for new and aspiring actors, you will find all that information!. http://www!.actingcareerstartup!.com/comic!.!.!.

Good luck in your audition!.
