Question: Make my voice sqeaky!?
my voice is sort of low and my school is putting on the production legally blonde the musical!. and u know that grl from delta nu with the really high pitch squeaky voice!? well i'm her but how do i make my voice my high and squeaky!? plz don't say just make it high cuz idk how to!.
if you haven't ever heard the grl i'm playings voice go to youtube!.com!. THen type in "bend and snap" click the first one!. Then it's the grl who says "grl if you wanna make the team, then make some self asteam!."

I have the same problem gurli and this is wut I do!.!.!.!.
When u warm up!.!.!.!.!.!. talk like a baby!.!.!. I know that sounds stupid but I promise it will help!.!.!.!. when u begin to talk like a baby your mind develops and remembers the sound!.!.!.!.!.!. but you must sing/talk like a toddler for about 5 minutes!.!.!.!.!.!.!. don't be afraid to really exaggerate!.!.!.!.
Then, make a moooo sound like a cow!.!.!. and no i'm not joking lol!.!.!.!. do that a lot in a very high pitched voice!.!.!. as if you were a baby!.
Next, say tongue twisters in a high voice and use a lot of diction ( pronounce your words very clearly and emphasize every syllable!.)
If you don't know how 2 make your voice sound high pitched than scream lik a gurl!.!.!. not loud of course!.!.!. but short sqeaks!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
when you do alll that a lot before you sing and you exaggerate the high pitched baby voice!.!. than your vocal cords will combine your low voice and high voice into wut is called a "broadway voice!."

The only advise I can think to give is to throw your voice up into your head so that you can feel the vibrations on your soft pallet!.(like when your singing a high note) I have a deep voice too so I totally know how you feel!. I played the part of a really ditsy girl in a play!.!.!. It's kinda hard to tell you what to do when I can't really show you what to do!. So I guess you'll just have to play around and see what your voice can do!. I know you probably know this but PLEASE don't try to do anything that strains your voice too much, it can cause permanent damage and that's never fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
No way would I say quit I think its great u are getting into character!. And a production of legally blonde!? that is so cool!. My school would never do that!. Practice singing from normal to really high!. A really good note for this is E!. Go "E,e,e,e,e!.!.!." etc increasing the pitch!. Then you will get to the highest you can and try to maintain it there!. Try going "eek!" as highly as you can and making horse noises!. Which I know sounds really stupid, but it brings out the high pitch in your voice!. Its really not that hard!. I recomend u practice alone while doing the horse sound thing, though, haha!. Tried to find tutorials on youtube but there are none!. Good luck though!Www@QuestionHome@Com
