Question: Who is the best Shakespersian actor you know alive today!?

Kenneth Branagh, hands downWww@QuestionHome@Com

Again, I have to say Kenneth Brannagh, definately!. His portrayal of Iago is fantastic! Definately on a par with Laurence Olivier in my book!. But I also do like Ian Mckellen (as much as I hate the 1930s set film of Richard III because of the change in time, he does act fantastically well in it)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Kenneth Branagh!. He gives Laurence Olivier a run for his money!.

Derek Jacobi is up there also!. Anthony Sher is excellent as well but mostly only known in Britain!. I also like Patrick Stewart but I think that's mainly because I'm a Star Trek geek!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course, I am a big fan of Kenneth Branagh, but we are both fans of Derek Jacobi!.
What a voice!. In the source is his prologue for Henry V (Kenneth Branagh directing)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
