I think you just take what ever one else has said into consideration with William Morris being a "star" agency and all!.

But I think you should call them!.
But put it in a way, where you are not pestering and seem like you are begging for an interview!.
Just be like "good morning blah blah blah!.!.!.I was just intrested to see it's possible to schedule an appointment/meeting with you!?!.!." if they say no, don't ask them and pester them why, because then you're being annoying, but simply asking them if there is any possibility really shouldn't matter!. Even if they say no just say before you hang up "Okay, that's fine, thank-you for you time, I apprieciate it!.!.have a good day bye!.!.!." or something along those lines!.

:) I hope you do get an oppurtunity to get an interview!.
Sorry my advice wasn't that great!.

Usually if you don't hear back from agent it means that they are not interested!. Your problem is probably that your trying to start too big!. The William Morris Agency is a (like the guy said above me) "star" agency!. They won't look at anyone with out a lot of experience, they really represent people who have already made a name for themselves!. You can't just call and make an appointment with them, (you can't really do that with any agency unless they are already interested in you) chances are if you try they won't really take you seriously!. Plus it's unprofessional to call agents on the phone!. You may want to start out by sending some of your headshots to local and smaller agencies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think everyone has given you good advice here!. I had personal experience with the Morris agency, and you have to understand what these different agencies are!. The Morris agency, for instance, is a 'star' agency!. You have to be someone for them to look at you!. Debra Aquila handles certain kinds of movies!. The big agencies are not for beginners!. You have to work like a dog and 'make the rounds' to even stand a chance of getting someone interested in you!. When you do, they will want to work for you, getting you work, so they get paid!. Learn the way it all works, and that's starting like everyone else!. It's a business of rejection, and very tough!. People get lucky all the time, but it's usually the result of hard work, doing your homework, going to as many auditions as you can manage, getting work in the remote chance that someone might come and see you!. As the classic saying goes, if you can do anything else, do that!. This all sounds very harsh!. It's a brutal business, not for the faint of heart!. You need a tough skin!. Dreams can and do come true, but the realities are what no one ever wants to face!. Networking is vital - it IS who you know!. If you have the perserverance and lots of hard work, you might get that break!. There are thousands and thousands of folks who are beating their brains out day after day to get a foot in the door!. I got fairly lucky, and worked a lot!. I didn't take advantage of the big opportunity when it was there, because I wasn't ready!. Are you studying!? Auditioning all the time!? I worked at it for 18 years and enjoyed modest success!. You have to want it more than anything else, and that's a much more difficult thing to do than you think!. I'm just trying to talk straight to you!. And certainly wish you all the best of luck!. I heard Bette Midler put it this way: you have to have something that appeals to the powers that be!. You might have it!. But it takes a lot more than sending a headshot out and waiting for a phone call!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It means they are NOT interested!. The best way to get an agency annoyed is to NOT contact them!.
If they are interested, they will contact you!.

It is unprofessional to call!.

If and when an Agency is interested, they will call you!. NEVER follow-up with an Agency, unless they specifically ask that you call them, or their Assistant!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

At this point, I don't think it could hurt, but think about this!. If you really want to get started acting, sending your materials in (head shot, resume, cover letter) in one agent at a time and then sitting back and waiting for an answer is not a winning strategy!. That's one of the reasons why most aspiring actors never fulfill their dreams!. The competition is great, so you're going to have to do better than that!.
Have a look at this page on my site for new and aspiring actors!. It has 23 links to pages that have to do with different aspects of how to start an acting career, including how to go about getting an agent! http://www!.actingcareerstartup!.com/teen_!.!.!.

Good luck!

Just piling on here--

William Morris is the top-line agency, and they aren't interested in people who have "done film, plays and stuff!."

If they didn't call you, they don't want you, and calling them to schedule an appointment when they don't want to see you will just annoy them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They usually review the talent for a long time, but for the meantime, why don't you get some experience in searching for agents in this site: http://hollywood-opportunities!.com
they give their members lists of great prospects after they have seen their resumes!.

they're a pretty amazing site for aspiring talents!. Good luck!. :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

It will never hurt to call!. Don't call more than once unless told to, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

wow!.!.!. If it's an agency like William Morris you do not call, they come to you!. You don't make appointments with them, they make an appointment with you, because they're to tones calling the shots, not you!. Actor and Host gave some great advice, stop sitting on your laurels, while you wait for the agency to call!. Go out there and continue booking jobs, the agency will like you better if you have a current job!. Stop sitting by the phone and waiting for just one agency to call, send your resume to other agencies in the area, chances are Morris is too busy, or has enough clients already, so they won't even bother to call you in for an appointment!.

Wait about 2 more months and if they still haven't called send in your resume again, there is no reason to call them!. They are busy enough as it is without a teen hounding them about a resume they have just sent!. You're more likely to get a restraining order than actually getting an appointment!. These agents are busy enough with their current clients
