Question: Can a person with a non-violent felony conviction be hired by a talent agent for acting or voice-overs!?
I need to know if a talent agent will still represent someone who has a felony!. Preferably in the state of Michigan, but also other states!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would think that its all up to the agent!. Agentcies and Managers are like normal 9-5 retail employeers, if they think that they can get you work and you have the skills they're looking for they're going to sign you!. Lots of the most creative people in hollywood have some kind of brush with the law with drugs, violence, sex acts!.!.!. they're also big named people and have a bit more pull on the legal system then you or me!. As long as you stay somwhere between Robert Downey Jr!. and Amy Winhouse on the "Crazy drug f'ups" scale !.!.!. I think you'll be fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I dont see why that would make a difference, look at Gary Bussey, but really each state has their own laws--

You should check with your local talent agents!.
