Don't go with ProScout!. They're not a real agency!. They just list breakdowns form other site to pass off as their own and then make you pay for them!.
Any online agency is a scam, that's a huge red flag!. If you want to get into this business legitmately, you'll have to find a real agent!. Depending on where you live there may be tons (NY/LA) or extremely few/none (small towns)!. So, if you DO live in a small market don't expect to sign with an agency and begin shooting tv shows/commercials/films!.

If you believe that you have potential to be an actor than get out there and start auditioning for community theatre plays!. That's where you're going to hone your skills and begin to build your resume!. Forget places like proscout, they're worthless!.

Some of them are scams I know for a fact Hollywood profiles is DEFINATLY a scam!.

Hollywood Profiles told me they needed $1!.95 to activate my profile and I didn't feel like doing it, so I didn't pay!. Good thing I didn't because I found out they were a scam and tons of people got money taken from them!.

One person activated the profile then was told they were going to send them stuff!. They never got anything and noticed that $40 bucks was charged to their credit card!. Then a few weeks later $90 bucks was charged to their card!. They were unable to get their money back and have since cancelled with them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if so you should make sure that werever you found that agent has a license key if not its a scam and dont go!!!

if you havent auditioned then YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO GET AN AGENT UTIL THE DIRECTORS PICKED YOU
and if you get picked then an agent might come to YOU and then he will be much cheaperWww@QuestionHome@Com

Sorry you are wasting your money on Proscout!. Any talent agency which is SAG franchised is not a scam!.

Proscount and all those web sites that promise you notice by casting directors are just there to take money from overyly eager, naive kids like yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
