dont be embarrassd performing in frnt of teens, im 19 and i do drama at uni and sometimes i get shy BUT remember the ppl ur performin 2 are there because they enjoy acting! thyr not forced 2 go so why wud they laugh!? thy will fink ur amazin =]]

do u have drama lessons in school!? if i was u id do those classes at school, thyr the same as outside classes and FREE!. do drama exams in school, get good exam results and do drama at uni!. ur 2 young 2 be thinking about the "big stuff" it may happen it may not so for now just have fun and remember to keep ur options open, its difficult to get into acting and even if u get into it there isnt much money in it unless ur a superstar!.

buy acting books, like shakespeare critics books and other styles of acting like Greek, melodrama and restoration etc!. read up on ur acting styles and ull be well on ur way!. schools can teach u just as much as a hundred quid teacher (who are no better than school teachers anyway)

good luck and i hope u make it in the acting biz =]=]Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you've been in a couple of school plays, you've obviously found some way to deal with your anxiety about performing in front of other teens!. You've been through the rehearsal process, which involves getting it wrong a few times before you get it right!. You've seen that all the other actors in the show are going through the same things you are!. If you can handle that, you can certainly handle group acting classes!.

Talk to some of the faculty members who've been involved with your school plays!. Ask them to recommend good acting classes in your area!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

One -on-one coaching should not be that expensive unless your teacher is someone like Ian McKellen!. $50 / hour is the norm and some can be substantially less!. Try to find an adult professional actor who will be your "coach" and will do so for a reasonable priceWww@QuestionHome@Com
