Do all the school speech and drama stuff!. Especially the speech competition and the plays!. When you have been in a few plays go to acting school on weekends!. College is not usually much help for an acting career, but there are some good ones!. LA is a bad idea!. Become an established actor in Chicago first, then go to LA when they know who you are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, I am a 14 year old guy who wants to go in to acting as well!. I've sort of always been interested in the limelight, so i joined the little community theatre group that my girlfriend recommended, and I got the lead male role in "Once on this Island"!. It was great being on stage, and the show was so good that because of high ticket demand, it ran for 3 week rather than for only 10 days!. Anyway, I live in the OC (Orange County, San Clemente to be more specific) which is pretty close to LA!. I see a lot of live theater up there about once a month!. I just saw Chorus Line at the Ahmanson Theater and loved it!. So join ur community theater, take drama in high school, and join the Ahmanson, or the Pantages (where Wicked plays)!. Good luck!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
