Well I joined forensics and that gives a boost!.


How do you prepare for a role!? I do two things!. One I go over the script reading it twice, then talking and saying it to a sitting object (commonly lockers in forensics)!. After that, what I don't remember I go over it!. Far as reasearch, I do a google search on the time period and learn satire and jokes baout that period, so I understand why they say specific lines!.

How do you 'move' as the character!? Walk and hold your hands!? I move with as much movement as possible while still seeming rational!. Moving hands do whats comfortable, and move to fit it with metaphors!. Hiliary Clinton as much as I hate here, does a good job of hand moving, she moves them side to side, as if she was typing on a type writer!. Just search on youtube for footage of her moving here hands during a speech!. Make your hands the center of attention not so much your mouth!.

also my hands, i would say a big-ish so i feel weird doing hand movements, how can i solve that!?!? I have big hands that stick out, so take advantage of it!. Learn to get metro with it, and move your hands alot when you talk!. I take advantage of it, because then people focus on your hands and words more than your mouth and words, which makes public speaking eaiser!.

Any tips on acting and especially acting EXCERSISES!!!
Beside reviewing script over and over and talking it to objects and others!. Do exaggerated verison helps build vocal character, and makes you feel more into character!. Acting is a word, Action is a verb, so get active with it!. If your character is strong and brawny, go do things strong and brawny people do, if your character is weak and pothetic, read books about weak and pothetic peoples!.!.!. You want emotion, don't worry about your words mate, worry about your face!. Make your face the key to the emotional aura, displace it how ever necessary!. To make a loud voice you need to just practice yelling!.!.

When I'm Preparing for a Role, that i have, i usually do breathing exercises, helps me calm, i I'magine that no ones watching me and im preforming for fun! Which i am! if your acting surely you must like it!? And use your hands while you move, gestures Rock! be strong and confident with it, and when rehearsing or practicing, do in front of a mirror, and keep using your voice Loud and Power full, then Move onto a crowd like a few people you know, perhaps siblings!? anyways then move on to bigger and better! its like a game!. and RELAXWww@QuestionHome@Com

i have the same problems, i think about body language when acting then i become to staggered in movement if i put it out of my mind i flow much more naturally!. Mirror mirror mirror and also i often practice by going places where people aren't familiar with me and portray a character of some sort!. My strong points are off beat mentally unstable characters lol i think it's because i am slightly morally challenged that those roles come natural to me!. I act as if i am a religious zealot of sorts often when performing on the street!. i look and feel like a butttard when acting happy but i been getting better!. Recently at a bar i never been too not local to me i portrayed a lottery winner during the televised state lottery drawing!. lol did the whole jumping up and down and tears of joy!.!. pulled it off quite well and i'm surprised i didn't get rolled for my lottery ticket!. lol when i left i pretend that i was so excited that i forgot my winning ticket on the bar counter!. lol no one said anything about the ticket on the bar but i'm sure many seen it!. lol got to love human nature!.!. no telling what happen after i left but i got out fast!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
