Question: Hamlet ideas!?

I have to write a 2 page free response paper on a debatable topic surrounding the play!. I can write on anything I want, except for: Hamlet's madness, Hamlet's possible Oedipus complex, Ophelia's alleged pregnancy, and the motif of poison throughout the play!.

The main thing that always strikes me about this show is that Hamlet suffers from a narcissus complex, he's so in love with himself and the workings of his own mind that he can't interact productively with others!. He brutalizes the woman he loves, stalks his own mother, and engages in a lot of subterfuge rather than just sneaking up on his uncle and planting a knife where it would do the deed!. In the end, it's his love of his own intellect that allows things to get out of hand, leading to his own demise!.

His habit of talking on and on and on about every little thing is evidence!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about the theme of appearance v!. reality!? There is a lot for that (Polonius's death, the players!.!.!.)
