Question: I Want To Be Famous!.!.!?
okay, i've been wanting to be an actor/singer for a very very long time!.
i live in san jose, CA but moving to washington in august!.
how can i start an acting carreer!? i'm 14 years old!.
my sister lives in l!.a!. so i was thinking that i could live with her and her boyfriend for a while while i'm trying to persue my dream!.!.then i could fly back and forth when i'm on break!.
i'm very shy though, when i act/sing in front of people!. but i know i'll grow out of it once i start doing it a lot!. and my mom says i'm a good singer, and 2 of my good friends that i only sing in front of say i'm a pretty good singer!.

Since you are young, get involved in the theatre program at your school!. also, start audition for different productions in community theatre!. But taking a class or workshop will help you SO much!. Don't plan a move to Los Angeles without any experience, because training will be more expensive there!.
As far as moving to LA, I cannot offer too much advice on that yet!. I do know it is cut-throat!. You will not become "famous" overnight!. You might not ever be "famous"!.!.!.not to say you will not have a sucessful career in acting, but not every sucessful actor would be recognized walking down the street!.
You are young, and I am very confident you will learn that Acting and Fame are completely different things!.
I do ABSOLUTELY wish you the best though! I am moving to LA in October to pursue acting in a bigger market (i've been doing theatre locally for about 8 years)!. I have learned a LOT from my directors, teachers, and from books!.

The best thing to do is to wait a few years, start small, and build up a resume to take out to L!.A!. with you!. Find a local community theatre and audition for some shows, or audition for shows at the local high school!. Once you have a few shows under your belt, then you'll be a pro at auditioning, and then have the experience to show to directors if you really go out to try for the bigtime!.

Do not dilly dally!. Go for it, I can see that you are driven and that is good!.
By the way, not all good singers are good actors!. They are separate gifts, and it is just coincidental that some people are gifted with both!.

if u want to be a actor or singer for fame and fortune you are sadly mistaken!.let me answer your question now!.You mite want to get a working permit then look for a talent agent!.then they mite book u for t!.v shows and movies e!.t!.c!.!.!.!.

1!. Training!. Acting/Dancing/Singing classes are a good start!. You start to get some talent under your belt, and grow your confidence!. Plus, if after about a year of classes if you realize you really don't like it, it'll be easier for you to back out!.
2!. Experience!. Do Community Theater, act in your school play, get in some student films, etc!. You'll want to do as many productions as possible to have a great resume!.

As you can see, you're going to need to spend at least two years (At the VERY least!. Usually you'll need three to four!.) building yourself up!. You'll want to make sure this is what you really want to do before you start getting into this!.
also, you should NEVER have to pay for anything when it comes to getting an agent!. If an agent tells you to take special classes from them or a website asks for a credit card number, that is a red flag that it is a scam!. Some of the big scammers out there are: John Robert Powers, Millie Lewis, John Casablancas, Proscout, Model Look, Barbizon!.
