That's a clapboard!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Usually associated with the word "Action!" is an object that is a part of the camera slate called "clapper board"!. These hinged boards are clapped together before each take during a shoot, to be recorded by the film camera and audio system!. The first frame of the closure is used later, in post production, to synchronize pictures and sound!. also called a "slate"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
