I have already been called back for 1 major play once but my phone got cut off so i blew that opportunity!.

Go to my contact list on my profile and check out 2 of my contacts!. There names are Theatre Doc and Marriane D!. They are top contributers and there are a lot of tips on their answers profile!. Other than that, I suggest you get a good agent, resume, and photgrapher for some photo shots!. A video doesn't hurt either!. There are so many ways to market yourself!. Location is important too, but if your still in school, I would finish that and participate in the drama dept!. and audition in your hometown for anything that is respectably available!. Read and keep up with what's going on in the entertainment industry!. I don't mean gossip! lol also, there is a lot of rejection in this industry as well as acception!. Don't take the rejection seriously!. It just means the part required someone that is different!. Keep your spirits up and don't give up, if this is what you really want!. Never let anyone discourage you, and surround yourself with supportive people! When you get an agent, they can assist you in the right direction!. There are also career guidance counselors, who specialize in the film dept!. they help you to have a goal plan, and set you in the best direction possible for you too!. keep on moving!Www@QuestionHome@Com Any agency that asks you for money in order to represent you is a scam!. An acting agent takes a percentage of your income for each acting job, that is the legitimate way they make money!. Where I am it varies between 10% and 20% depending on the agent and the type of work!. Acting is tough, and it's good that you know so!. Talent, determination, skill, and perseverance are all must haves!. And even then it's not enough!. You often miss out on work for reasons beyond your control, i!.e you're too pretty, young, old, fat, skinny, dark, light, funny, nice etc etc!. First, you need to be properly trained (drama school, courses etc)!. You also need a good agent, who understands what you want, and sees your potential!. Then you need a VERY thick skin!. You will receive a lot of criticism, and it will feel personal!. And you need to be willing to sacrifice everything!. Move away from your family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend!. As Don Cheattle once said "If you can do anything else, do it"!. But if acting is really you passion, all the sacrifices will be worth it if you succeed!.
