i have to do a 16 bars assignment for my theater class and i wanted to do the song "green finch and linnet bird" from sweeney todd!. can anyone tell me how far into the song that is!? from the beginning!. thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Get hold of the sheet music and count them!? I'm pretty sure that these lines are the first 16 bars:

Green finch and linnet bird,
Nightingale, blackbird,
How is it you sing!?
How can you jubilate,
Sitting in cages,
Never taking wing!?
Outside the sky waits,
Beckoning, beckoning,
Just beyond the bars!.
How can you remain,
Staring at the rain,
Maddened by the stars!?

I happen to happen to have the score right in front of me, and that is correct!.

The first sixteen bars span from the first "Green finch and linnet bird" to "maddened by the stars"!.
