Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest' - It's hilarious, interesting and witty and it doesn't try to be anything psychologically intense!.!.!.!.it is literally just entertainment, something that takes you away from your world for two hours and makes you laugh!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

My favorite musical would have to be Wicked!. Most people see if just as "what happened before the Wizard of Oz" but it goes deeper than just that!. It's underlying theme is the manner in which we all feel separated from what is perceived as "normal" in today's society!. Elphaba is shunned by the society because of her obvious differences: her appearance, beliefs, and behaviors!. Once you look beyond the "sparkles" of the musical, you are allowed to see what is "underneath" the story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love love LOVE A Chorus Line- just saw it again the other week, actually!. I love the music so much, but mostly it's my favorite musical because it tells a great story about a bunch of characters you really care about, and there are virtually no props or special effects to help it along!. All you get is a bare stage and about 12 actors in regular dance clothes, telling their life stories in ways that are funny, provocative, and sometimes really sad!. I just love how a musical can be so great without all of the fancy sets and costumes that are used so often in musical theater today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thats a hard question as seeing that they are all so good!. I love the phantom of the opera because its a classic!. But would have to go with into the woods as my favourite because it takes all my favourtie stories and gives them a twist ot create humor!.
