Question: How to make 2 speeches in the last scene of a script more interesting!?
I have two older men making moderately-long speeches in the last scene of a historical play to "wind up" the action!. What would be a good way to make them more interesting (not with hecklers, since the audience would be attentive and even reverent)!? Should the characters address the audience directly, or use poetic devices, or possibly a couple of jokes!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
