1!. Work on plays!. Read a lot of them [to increase your knowledge base], and do a lot of monologue work by reading passages aloud and acting them!. Not for the purposes of memorization -- just to use them as tools to improve your acting and cold-reading techniques!. The best acting "exercise" is simply DOING some acting work!. :-)

2!. A biggie -- work on your hand gestures and arm movements!. If you're like many actors, hands/arms are the bane of your existence -- the ever-present curse of "what do I do with my hands!?" I've been working in theatre professionally for over 25 years, and I still do at least 30 minutes of hand/arm work every night in front of a mirror to continue honing my abilities!. I studied for nearly ten years with a superb acting teacher who had studied at RADA, and he showed me the exercises they did there -- he said there were weeks when all they did for eight hours was work on hand gestures and arm positions/movements, including some extremely slow motion detailing work!. He said all the students found it almost overwhelmingly and numbingly boring, but at the end of it they all were profoundly better at making controlled gestures that looked absolutely perfect and "natural" onstage!.

3!. Watch classic films that have great actors in renowned roles, and really study what those actors are doing to look perfect -- their body positioning, their hand gestures, the angle of their heads, and even their dramatic and/or comedic timing!. Well, for that last one, just remember that film sometimes has longer pauses than will work in live theatre!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1) Put on a song that expresses a emotion, try to express that through your body!.

2) Use your study time to train acting as well! If you're still in school when you are studying for a test ad you have to memorize something, memorize it as if it were a script!. Your grades will increase and you are training your memorization skills!. Try to find the best way to memorize so you can use it futerly for script memorization!.

3) Pay more attention to actors body movements, facial expressions and voice techniques!.

4) Make up mini plays to present to your family members and friends!. Something simple though!.

5) Acting lessons definitely help

6) Get tips of the Internet!. A good site is www!.actortips!.com

7) Get movie scripts on google and train them in the front of the mirrorWww@QuestionHome@Com

Difficulty with a small object: try to thread an imaginary needle or light an imaginary match!. the goal isn't to succeed, it's to pay attention to detail and really focus on something!.
Listen to music: listen to an imaginary song in your head!. really hear the song!.
Transformation: start by imagining one object and let it transform into another!. don't force it or it won't work!. if you start with a red ball, just watch it until it changes into whatever it changes into!.
Don't force any of these!.!.!. let you imagination go! I know they sound a little crazy, but they do help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
