Check the SAG website!. It all depends on what kind of contract it is but national commercials can pay tens of thousands of dollars!.

In reponse to the post below: while it's true that SAG itself doesn't cover print and internet, if you're hired for an all-inclusive commercial with rights to advertise under various mediums, you will be still under a SAG contract if it's being filmed and shown on tv!. This is where your agent comes in to negotiate your payment for the "extras"!. And yes, an actor can make a year's salary from 2 commercials!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The people above are speaking about what you would get from residuals, which are paid each time the commercial is shown!.

Scale rate for a national commercial would be $760 for one day, $1920 for three days!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

SAG has nothing to do with print and internet!.

If it's a national commerical, you could literally end up making $30,000!. I have friends who do a couple nationals a year and live off that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
