Question: ACTING HELP please!!!!!!!!!?

So in my theater arts class we have an assignment to act a certain way all day!.
And me ms!. happy got sad and depressed she also had us make a story why we are that way I'm saying my aunt died how do I act like I'm REALLY going through this ALL day 2marrow
(We tell everyone at the end of the day)

The secret to accomplishing this for a full day is to completely commit to the idea!. If you have chosen the story about your aunt then you need to truly immerse yourself in what it would feel like to lose her!. If you do not actually have an aunt chose someone else that you are very close to!. You might want to try writing a goodbye letter to that person tonight!. Imagine what you would want to say if they really had passed away!.

When someone truly feels sad and depressed it is not just a surface emotion!. You may feel as if you have been punched in the gut with emotion, your chest may feel heavy with tears, you would have low energy and probably would not be talking very much!. People who are sad and depressed often retreat from other people!. However if your sadness has come from a loss you may want to seek out a friend who will support you in acting this out!. Through out the day they can check in with you to see how you are doing and occasionally give you hugs and help with the illusion that you are going through a difficult time!.

But the most important piece of this is to not act it but feel it!. If you simply try to "act" sad and depressed their is no way you will be able to maintain it for an entire day!. Do your prep work tonight and this should be a fairly simple exercise for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
