I really want to be a famous model/actress, but i really dont know what do i need, and where to get an agent, could you please tell me where can i find one!? and what do i need, and what model/actress agency are good please and SAFE! please help!!:)Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Its not somthing that can be described easily!. Basically, you need ALOT of luck and ALOT of talent!. There's no 100% fool-proof, safe garentee or anything!. not even close!. You have to find an agency near you (or they will find you!. If you live in LA or near Mission Viejo, an agency might scout you but that's mostly if you're cute and have the right "look" to you!. Sometimes that means that these people can be ever so slightly racist, etc!. Even then, they can end up charging you a FORTUNE!. (example: PG is a company that does this but there is a hidden $1,000 fee to join if you make the additions!.) Next you have to goe through the training program at the agency!. This will lead up to you getting your agent!. (woohoo!!!!) The agent's job is to basically look for jobs for you!. Your agent will find you millions of auditions!. That means you could get a call in the middle of the night saying "get a costume so that you'll look like Mona-Lisa and be down at this address in LA in 2 hours!." When you get to the auditions, you are handed a script!. Sign in to audition for the part when you've read it through a few times!. Then PREPARE! People will try to distract you!. This is a tactic used so that you wont be as prepared when you go up and there'll be less competition for them!. Do NOT fall for it!. Prepare the script u get and don't be afraid to add oodles of personality!. YOU WANT TO STAND OUT!!!!! YOU REALLY REALLY WANT TO STAND OUT! and DO NOT, watever you do, ask for a restart!. you'll be kicked out right away sometimes!. This is why it's improtant to prepare!. also, after you're done w/ the script, they might keep the camera running for a few minutes!. Don't get out of character b4 they say cut!. This is a test for your creativity and your impression of your character!. Improvise!. Use this opportunity to stand out!. If you cant think of anything, dont stand there awkwardly, smile at the camera and say something random (ie ducks, plastic cows, 526!) Your chances wont be good but there is always a chance!. I'm 57 and I'm still not famous!. For a girl, it helps a lot to win beauty contests, especially for modeling!. If you win Miss Teen Missouri, the agencies will come to you!. Enter talent shows if you can sing, and take singing lessons to improve your singing if you can!. If you want to be an actress, audition for plays (and be prepared to travel a lot)!. Probably NYC and LA are the best places for an aspiring model or actress!.
