Question: Monologue and Audition tips!?
Hey Guys,
Well I have an audition later tonight!. I need to recite a monolgue and sing a song!. I have my song and my monolgue picked out and memorized!. Any tips on how to perform my song and monologue!? What to wear!? Should I try to act out (in a theatrical way) my song!? Oh, I have already made my resume what are the key things to put on it!? I have name, charactoristics, experience, training, and special skills!. Thanks for all the help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
a key part of your monolouge is to really feel it! wear something that shows of your personality!. Don't bring any props!. make sure you know your part well and ACT CONFIDENT! if you act confident you come off confident!. don't think that you'll get the part you want because if your hopes are to high, the person who is watching your audition make think of you as over confident and may not want to work with you!. also, really feel what your song means, ( "the wizard and i" hope that she'll have a better life, "somewhere thats green" looking into her perfect future!. " no good deed goes unpunished" seeking revenge on those who hate her, scron/fury!. good luck!!!!!!!)
