Question: Help! There is a mandatory talent show coming up in two weeks, and I have no talent! I need ideas!!?

~Write a stand up comic sketch or a poem and present it!.

~Present yourself as the klutzy clown and juggle various items while dropping every single one of them!.

~Pretend you are on a cooking show and make something on stage while acting like one of those ridiculous tv chefs!.

~Enlist one of your friends and announce that purely for the audiences entertainment you will now perform your schools very first blinking contest then just stare each other down!. You could even go one step further and when one of you wins have the theme to "Rocky" play and someone could come out and present you with a trophy!.

~Direct something and have people you know who do have talents perform something you direct them in!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Whatever talent I'm sure you do have because everyone has one, just do your best at it!.

I suggest singing!. Plenty of people at the talent shows I take part in are liked when singing, whether they are good or not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've never heard of a "mandatory" talent show!. You could do a reading of a favorite poem or passage!. Perhaps you could volunteer backstage if you don't want to perform!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Chels is right - get up there and do something and call it art!. Sometimes taking the chance can be inspired!!

If all else fails, tell stupid jokes, it works for me!.

I've seen lots of talent shows and very rarely is there good talent up on stage (lot's of folks who think they are good)!.

I really like the fruit loops idea - spill it on yourself or the audience and then you really move up the scale to performanc art!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
