Monologue from a modern play?

Question: Monologue from a modern play!?

I'm taking an acting class in college and need to find a monologue from a play made from 1940 to today!. Any ideas!? I'm a 20 year old female!.

I was thinking something funny, but i'm new to this and dont know how i'm going to pull this off!

you can use monologues from the play Wicked!. my friend did a monologue as Glinda and it came out amazing!Www@QuestionHome@Com
