Wow! I didn't know there was someone in the world that hadn't seen that movie!. I watched it so many times as a kid I could quote most of the lines!. Lol!.

Dorthy (our protagonist) is a young girl (15ish) who lives on a farm in KS with her Aunt and Uncle!. She's unhappy with her boring, country lifestyle!. A grotchy woman who is a neighbor of hers theatens to have her dog put down because the dog has bit her again!. So Dorthy runs away with her dog Toto!. Shortly after running away she is sent back home by a fortune teller she meets on the road!. Once she gets home, a tornado hits, and the house (along with her and her dog) are swept away to the land of Oz!. Once there she meets Glenda the Good Witch of the North and the Munchkins!. When the house was dropped in Oz by the tornado, it landed on the Wicked Witch of the East!. Her sister the Wicked Witch of the West arrives to find her sister dead (we now have our antagonist)!. After the Wicked Witch leaves, Glenda tells Dorthy that the only person who can send her home is the Wizard of Oz!. So Dorthy begins her journey down the yellow brick road!. Along the way she gains the company of the Scarecrow (who wants a brain), Tin Man (who wants a heart), and the Cowardly Lion (who wants some courage)!. The group makes it to Oz and meets the Wizard!. The Wizard says that the only way he will help them is if they kill the Wicked Witch of the West and bring him her broomstick!. So they leave the city of Oz and shortly after Dorthy gets kidnapped by the Wicked Witch!. The gang tracks her down to the castle!. The Wicked Witch tries to kill the Scarecrow by catching him on fire!. Dorthy tries put him out by dousing him with water but in doing so she also splashes the Wicked Witch with water and melts her!. They grab the broomstick and take it back to the Wizard but he turns out to be a con-artist (the saying "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" comes from this movie) but offers some good advice to the characters (he shows the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion that what they were seeking were inside thm all along)!. The Wizard turns out to be from KS too and offers to take Dorthy back in his hot air balloon!. The balloon accidently takes off without her!. While Dorthy is crying about the fact that she will never get home, Glenda shows up and give her a pair of ruby slippers!. All she has to do is wear the slippers, tap her heels three times, and say "There is no place like home" (this is your climactic moment)!. She does and suddenly she wakes up back at home!. Turns out that it was all a dream (she had been knocked unconcious during the tornado)!. The reason I listed all the characters is because many are doubles!. The guys who play the Scarcrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion are all workers on the farm!. The man who plays the fortune teller also plays the Wizard of Oz, and the woman who play the groutchy neighbor also plays the Wicked Witch of the West!.
