I was watching "Show Off" from The Drowsy Chaperone!. Usually I can figure out how special effects/gags were created but there's one costume change that I can't figure out!. You can see the clip from the Tony's on YouTube!.

Go to 5 min 30 sec for the costume change that I'm talking about (there's about seven changes in this song alone)!. What do you think!? The skirt in the previous costume is too short to have the second costume underneath and afterwards there's no one holding the first costume in their hands!. And you can tell it's not hidden on the underside of the umbrella!. It's just so fast!. How are they doing it!? Even if you have a guess let me know!. It's driving me nuts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It looks like the pink costume covered the yellow!. If you notice, the yellow costumes shoulder straps are rather thick!. I'm guessing it has something to do with unpinning it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

When making the video they paused it and changed their clothes then made it look like it happend in 5 seconds!. Which is called blending images!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

On broadway, they put magnets sometimes in the outfits for uber quick changes!. That's what they do in Leagally Blonde!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
