The cast for HSM was selected after the songs were written!. Troy's songs were written for a tenor whereas Zac is a baritone, so the songs were not in his vocal range!. Zac does all his own singing in Hairspray so if you watch that you can hear what his voice sounds like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
