For a specific number - Only about one in every twelve-thousand performers who move to New York to pursue theatre actually ever end up in a Broadway show!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The chances of being successful are none!. People go into theatre because that is all they want to do!. They are driven to express themselves creatively!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To be a working actor!? Low!. Not many people do!. It's good that you're thinking about, but this is also a career field where you can't obsess and plan your forward projection, like in other fields!. You have to do it becuase you love it!.
There are many cases where people will try to do it during their 20's - move to NY/LA, live the life of a starving actor, etc!. At some point, many of these people get tired of doing that and want a steady paycheck with benefits, retirement, etc so they get a "real" job!.
How about a double major!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
