Question: Help with Bye Bye Birdie audition!?

I really would like to be Kim (of course, lol, who wouldn't!?)!. What song from the show should I sing that would be the best for showing off range and character, etc, !?

OR a song that isn't from the production that would get it into their heads that I could be a great Kim, lol!. :)

It Might as Well be Spring is a song sung by Ann Margaret in the musical, State Fair!. Because she played the lead in Bye Bye Birdie, it might give you an edge to do one of her numbers, but not something from, "Birdie"!. The committee might be receptive to a different song!.
