Anything is possible if you truly believe you can. Listen to what some say above me. Good luck. *wink*

Chances are low, just being honest. I would definitely have a back up plan. Good luck.

It is doubtfull due to your age, location, lack of experience and job oppurtunity in soap operas.

The fact is i don't know if you have talent, if you do have the look, skill and feel for a role you will get it.

Never give up. :)

find a good agent :)

Not as long as you truly believe you can. maybe when you are famous i can say i answered a question for you once =) Its all about motivation and seeking out people that will get you where you want to be! good luck

It's the toughest of professions. My advice to you would be to only keep trying if you could absolutely not bear to do anything else. You have to have an outstanding, spectacular talent, have a very hard outer shell to take all the knocks, and have a charismatic personality to make networking work. The fact that you are asking this question means that you probably don't have enough self belief. If you don't have faith in yourself, who will? Sorry if that sounds tough, but if you continue to pursue this dream, you will be told much worse. At least get qualifications and skills in a safe, back-up trade. Best of luck.

I can't really tell from the information you gave me but give it a shot. You might need to move to a city though.

i started acting when i was 36...so if i can do it, i don't see why you can't.

start looking at your local colleges for information on what direction to go in. you have two really great schools in AZ - ASU in Tempe and U of Arizona in Tucson (i know - i've applied to both for grad school) that have wonderful BFA programs. sometimes, even in college productions, they hold open auditions to the public. it doesn't hurt to ask.

also, get in touch with the Phoenix Repertory Theater. if nothing else, they can at least direct you to where you can start taking classes, if college intimidates you for now. but check your local resources. and above all else, don't defer your dream. if this is what you really want to do, then get ready to work like you have never worked before. part of what makes acting look so easy is because actors work hard at making it look that way. have faith!

Audition for some playhouses in Phoenix. I know they have them. I read that Bree may only be on OLTL another year - maybe 2. You'd need acting experience. You'd have to live in NYC or close enough to commute (NJ). You'd need an agent, headshots, etc. Then you'd have to wait for them to need sombody and audition against a lot of other girls. It's a rough road to go, but if you put your mind to something - nothing is impossible. Concentrate on writing scripts and send them to the head writer at OLTL.

Hunny go for your dream and never give up!

Best place to start and get some experience, is student films, they don't pay you, but they get you in the Field and earn you contacts. Think of it this way, they are up and coming directors casting agents and just plan out people who are connected in the Field. Its a great place to start.

Get out and take some acting lesions. One of the best ways to start building up your experience which helps get a good agent.

You are also gunna wanna get yourself a good agent, the best ones are the kind that make you audition to actually get into the agency. You don't want a big agency, or a agency that makes you take "acting lesions". Don't get me wrong, they like experience, but its not their job to offer it. Those agency are usually a gimmick and only want you to give them your money, this is a trap that sooooo many people fall into, so watch out!

Some good web pages to look at for student roles are:

www.Mandy.com
www.craigslist.com (under "gigs" and "talent")

Just be careful on craigslist, their are some creeps on there.

Good Luck! And don't listen to anyone hasn't had experience in the business! Those people are all just dreamless knobs!

aND Have FuN ;-)

Anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
