"The Colored Museum" is a satire and while humor underlies a majority of the pieces it is a perfect mix of comedy, melodrama, campy humor and just good ole plain drama. Because it is a series of vignettes opposed to one straight story line, you can't really tag it as either or.

Both. Theatre slang-wise, it would be called a "dramady."
