What do I need to do to become a better actress?

Question:I'm already pretty good. I'm a very dramatic person and I have taken drama classes since I was six. I've been in alot of different plays. But I need moooooooooooooooooooorrreeeeeeeee!

You need the talent.
Obviously. So the classes and plays will deffinatly help you there.
But you've got to keep taking the classes and keep doing these plays.
Once you've done this for a while, then you're ready for the next step, acting for camera.

Make a resume, have a headshot and send them to the acting agencies in your area. Then if you get taken, you'll be going to auditions for movies and tv shows and commericals!

Training in improvisation will serve you well. If you take it seriously, and train with a teacher or group that understands that improv is not about jokes but about spontaneous collaborative storytelling, you will become more flexible and authentic in your character choices, sharper in your ability to understand characters and plots, a better listener, and able to take direction well. All of these skills will be beneficial to you in an acting career.
