You sound just like me. I was afraid to tell my parents too but I am glad I did because now they believe in me and can help me. You are totaly not too old. The whole working with Disney thing would be awesome but we have to work for it. If you really love singing and acting you'll understand. Good Luck! I hope to see u on disney some day!

Nope. Not at all. You can start with participating in your school chorus and taking private voice lessons. Acting wise, you can try out for school plays, participate in community theater, and take beginning acting classes for kids. It's usually best to start out small by doing local things before moving onto the bigger stuff.

Tell your parents that you're interested in pursuing acting and singing and that your dream is to someday work with Disney. Tell them that you would like to take lessons as well so that you can develop your technique and artristy that's required to both sing and act. If you can get some contact information along with prices, that will help your parents with the search.

Good luck!

You're never too old to follow your dreams! I'm 15 and I wish I knew I could act and sing and dance earlier. Go for what you really want, and be straight forward with your parents. Tell them you want to take acting/singing lessons. There are very many different places you can go to also. If you have any cosmogirl or seventeen magazines, in the back where the ads are there is one called Michael something or another, if you look I'm sure you'll find it. It helps you act and sing, dance, model.. whatever you want. It'll help you get discovered. I'm thinking about it too. Good luck! =)

If you want to work with disney you have to be living in LA

tell them lol!! i did and they totally support it. its YOUR dream!! take some classes(vocal and acting) and participate in your school plays and singing group
