I would like to see Stephen King's short story The Secret Window as a musical. It could sound awesome. I can already imagine the song when Mort discovers who the guy is that believes Mort stole his story. It would be intense like Sweeney's Epiphany. (lol it could be titled that too.) It could have comic elements from Mort himself when his ex-wife and her lover comes around and he teases her lover and it's hilarious. (At least in the movie he does). Yeah it would be a Sweeney Todd-esque musical and there aren't many of those.

choose a classic or a shakespere they have suceeded in the past. West side story was based on Romeo and Juliette and les mis based on the book ...uh...les mis by victor hugo into the woods is based on fairy tales. people like well told stories that have a lot of heart in musicals, something along those lines

Harry Potter the Musical?? XD

I'm sick of adaptations. Can we please have some original material for a change? Something totally new, that no one has ever heard of.
