I am an alto. But i can never find the right songs for my alto voice. Any sugges

I'm going to go out on a limb her and assume you are a girl, but if you are a guy this will work too.
If you were alright with rock I would suggest a My Chemical Romance song called "Victims of Love" or just another song by them because I'm also an alto and I find their songs very easy to sing. Plus, they don't always have names of genders in their songs.
But seeing as you don't want rock or country, you could try "Unwritten" or another song by Natasha Bedingfield, there are some sort of high parts but nothing too high.

try finding out who sings in your range two examples that I can think of are Wynonna and Karen Carpenter perhaps a tune from their catalogs will suit your needs.

Since this is the theater and acting forum, I suggest "On My Own" from Les miserables; "Life is a Cabaret" from Cabaret; Daddy's Son from Ragtime...I have bunches, but this may not be what you are looking for.
