How do I get noticed to act?

Question:I've wanted to act for ever. I live in Nebraska and my family struggles with money sometimes. No we are not farmers! I have always wanted to act, but have never known what to do. Please help!

I'm not a farmer either, but there's nothing wrong with that even if you were.

First see if you can get into some classes.
Also talk to some other actors if you can find some and see what they did.
Look up actor bios on net and read them.
Start reading some books about acting classes like
Sanford Meisner on Acting
or
The Art Of Acting by Stella Adler
Start reading up on what it really means to be an actress.
Classes will help you to start to see if you really like it or not.

Go from there.
