How to get Started!?

Question:Hey. I so incredibly badly want to be a famous disney actress and singer, just like Miley Cyrus. I know how to be a good role model and I will be a good one! I just have no idea where to get started. I am taking an acting class, but I was wondering how to get and agent and how to score an audition for a new disney channel show! Does anyone know!? You would be soooo incredibly awesome if you helped me! And i promise if I am ever famous I will look you up and give you front row seats to my concerts! hahaha thanks so much!! pleaseee pleaseee pleaseee help me!!!!!!! thanks.

You would have to audition and get into one of the big talent agencies that is nationwide, get head shots and create a resume from your work history. Remember you have to have something really different to offer other than a pretty face and willingness to follow direction. You actually need acting, singing and dancing talent and be really excellent at it. Good isn't good enough.

I don't want to burst your bubble but there are at least ten thousand kids who feel like you do in the USA and then there are those who are already in the system prepared to be what they want. You must recognize that at this point with no experience and no representation by a mega talent agency that is affiliated with Disney your chances are really slim to none.

You should take lessons and get involved in theater groups and take singing lessons and dance lessons. Prepare and work hard. Even then there are many who never make it "big." If your parents are not prepared to sacrifice their lives so you can act in Chicago, Milwaukee (a huge theater district), New York or some other place big in theater, it will really be tough. You may not get your "break" until you are an adult when you are able to move where you need to and get the education to be the best.

Follow your dream but keep it real and have fun along the way. You never know where you will end up.

You might wanna start off small with doing high school theatre or community but if you want to go big directly get an agent and move to Los Angeles. Tell me if this helps and look around online but do not pay for any thing because they are just scams. Trust me.

I don't think you're gonna score an audition for the new disney channel as easily as you think. you should be employed by disney already, take those classes and look up talent agents on the net. look around for local acting classes..you will find it. start asking questions like you were a PI for a living. you'd be surprised to see how far your determination will go.....if you truly want this to happen.
